We do accept and stand outside stallions on a limited basis. Please feel free to contact us to discuss further.
What should I think about before reaching out about standing my stallion?
Has my stallion already been taught to collect? Has my stallion been tested on different semen extenders? Will he need a few weeks of training to the phantom and to be tested with extenders? Do I have genetic testing done on my stallion? Standing a stallion at stud, tends to be cost effective when you can guarantee five or more outside breedings.
What is the cost associated with standing a stallion and do you have contracts regarding standing them?
Yes, we do have a current standard price list available for our services. We do have a stallion contract and boarding contract available. Email us if you have questions.
Do we need to submit a breeding contract if you are breeding to a stallion standing at ZAC?
Yes, a breeding contract must be completed, signed, and any breeding/chute fees need to be paid at that time.
How much does a collection & shipment cost?
A collection and shipment cost $350 each time requested.
How do you ship the semen?
We ship Priority Overnight with Fedex. You will receive it the next day.
Can we request a shipment at any time?
We do have a pre-determined shipping schedule and that can be found on the last page of the stallion contract.
How do we request a shipment?
Notification for a requested shipment should made 24 hours/the day prior of shipping. Requests made the day of shipping may not be able to be met, depending on other requests already made. Semen must be paid for prior to shipping.
Do you accept mares for live cover?
At this time, we do not accept mares. We only offer cooled fresh shipped semen.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. We do offer a multiple mare and proven show mare discount. Special consideration is also given to repeat customers and/or mares. Contact us to discuss further.
